Spark Plug Specifications???iam a newb to jeeps

Hello jeep lovers out there iam new to jeeps but not new to cars,well kinda well anyways i have a ?. I need to knw the spark plug toruqe Specifications for my 1990 jeep and the gap size for the spark plugs.

The jeep was given to me and well i need to do a few things to it like radiator flush new paint on the top (lol i allways see jeeps with messed up paint on the hood). ill prob do this later thow.

Iam prob gonna paint it yellow or olive green and raise 3-4" up with black wheels.

Current cars: 1998 Black Trans Am
1990 Black Jeep Chorokee

if you plan on doing the work yourself, regardless of how hard, your best off getting a factory service manual for your XJ. Sorry, I don't know where to look (try google). It gives you every piece of info you could possibly need.

A Chilton book is pretty much mandatory...highly suggested...bout $20

Should be .035. IIRC, I think it's 20 ft/lbs, but I'll double check tomorrow.

For my '97 the gap sounds right, and the torque is 23 ft/lbs (manual specs). I don't know it it's the same but from what Code says it sounds to be.

I just put new plugs in my XJ about 3 hours ago...I went out with some friends and the first time I really got down on the throttle a couple of the cylinders missed...I gapped them to .035 and got them pretty tight so I don't know what the problem is...I'll figure it out in the morning.

ok will do but i was reading on some specs that it was about 11 for the spark plugs but ill have to wait till i have time to buy the manual cuz iam also gonna have to flush the radiator.

hear are the changes that are gonna be made in the future.

Headers,exhuast,suspension,wheels,paint,hose kit,liquid contaners,and breaks, but i have to even out my moneu for my trans am.
