I've seen ads for rear disk conversion kits for TJ's for $250. They claim that it has everything you need to do the "bolt on"conversion, Calipers, Disks, lines, pads, brackets and all the nuts and bolts etc.
I'm a little skeptical, that seems real cheap for what you get, not that I want to spend more money.
Has anyone done a rear disk conversion? If so, how much is it in the real world, and is it a "do it yourself" project.

Just as a compairson on disk breaks, I installed 4 wheel disk breaks on my Nova about ten years ago, and it cost me about $900. and that was for GM equipment.

I don't know what kits you've seen, but the Tera rear disc conversion is one of the most recommended and to my knowledge, a complete, bolt-on conversion kit. It is almost twice the dollar figure you saw on those other kits.

I personally did the D35 so if you have any questions feel free to ask away. As well the last page of mine will probably answer any questions you might have on the mod.

That wright up sounds awsome, I like OEM stuff of that type, if something ever fails there's always a dealer "relitively" close.
Looks like some time soon I'll have to make a trip to pick-a-part and go shoppin'.
