Hey all,

I'm considering a 2005-2006 GC, and am wondering what gas mileage you are averaging in the V-6 and V-8 (non-Hemi). I drive about 8 miles to work in light-moderate traffic each day/each way. I don't haul things. I will probably deal with moderate to heavy snow at least once a year 'cause I live in Colorado. You think I should just go with the V-6?

I currently drive a 2000 Audi S4, but need something with a warranty. I know the basic Jeep warranty is 3/36k. Can I purchase an extended warranty anytime before the basic runs out?

Thanks for the help!

I6 not V6 but the mileage isnt that much different between the two..

I think the 4.0 gets moderatly better mileage but I guess with todays gas prices you take what you can get..

The 4.0 had very good torque and decent power .. Its a good overall engine ..

It will do you fine...

But it wont ever sound like a V8 Mr. Green

I love the V-8. Pulled my friends xj through so rough trails the other day when he pinched his trans cooler line and lost his tranny. Little did I know he still had it in park for a little while Rolling Eyes
