Before I replaced it with the electric fan it was running great... it didn't wobble when tested. The new electric fan is working great as well. It may just be the difference of running my Jeep down here in FL compaired to up north somewhere a little cooler?!?

JON, I don't know if you have taken issue with what I said but I was only trying to explain to Flyerjib what "I thought" you meant by drilling a hole in the thermastat. I think I adequately qualified what I said as such?

I just thought he didn't know what you meant by drilling a hole in thermastat.

My comment about redesign being left to engineers (MOST of the time) may have been interpreted the wrong way. It might have sounded a little bit harsh - my Apologies! It was not meant to be that way.

Other than expressing my own "Opinions", I don't think I went astray on any Forum Rules? Everything posted here is only "Free Advice" meant to assist but everyone makes their own final decisions when it comes to their vehicles . . .

I just wanted to say two more things on this post... 1) thanks for all the comments and suggestions; I really dig this sit ever since I found it and it has really been helpful. 2) How come Jon doesn't have anything else to say after he went off of the deep end the other day? crybaby Compaired to some other posts I've read, I thought this one remained very tame and "professional"; even after the chaotic remarks?!? Until next time... keep on Jeepin' ... O|||||||O crazy jeep

ok... one more add to finish off this post. I added some "water wetter" from the auto parts store to my radiator and it works like a champ! My temp stays around 10 to 15 degrees cooler than it was and never gets over 210 now... even in the interstate! Good stuff and recommend to anyine who needs their Jeep (or any other vehicle) to run a little cooler! Thanks again to everyone who posted... this site rocks! bowdown
