hey, please bear with me im not that familiar with front end parts...i have a 1989 cherokee xj...with i think its a 3.5 or 4" lift under it with 32" X 11.50" tires...now...the front end has a TON of slop in the steering..i was told by a friend that i need to replace the "drag link" .....or whatever one connects to the pitman arm...while im at it i'll replace the pitman arm...so i went to the auto parts store and they didnt have anything like what i needed...they did have something they called a track arm but it didnt have the two bolts through it with the threaded collar or whatever u call it...it didnt connect to the pitman arm either....so...i guess what im asking is what do i need to replace here to get rid of my slop..the jeep is worn out and most of the parts need replacing but what parts in the front end normally go bad first and what exactly is the thing called that connects to the pitman arm and goes down and connects to w/e...SORRY..!....still trying to figure out what everything is called....also...if i get a drop pitman arm....or if i dont get a drop pitman arm....i'll still get the same stock length parts...right? once again sorry for my illiterate-ness...appreciate any help here!!
