I got a 5.9 and when it rains I got water that drips out the far front of the roof liner by the visors and winshield. The only thing i can think of is the sunroof roof rack or the winshield. does anyone have any ideas of where it could be coming from or where you had problems in the past.

You could test it by pouring water around the edge of the sunroof/weatherstripping, windshield, or roof rack. Just wait for it to completely dry in one spot before trying the other. I doubt it is from the roof rack- it's more likely the sunroof.

I had a problem with my 5.9 when I initially got it. The weatherstripping at the back of the sunroof glass was coming off and it would bind into the sunroof frame and not allow the sunroof to close completely. I used automotive glass adhesive and glued the weatherstripping in the proper place and I haven't had a problem with it since. I don't know how it could be the roof rack- I've never taken mine off. Do you know if there are gaskets or washers around the screws or bolts that hold the rack to the roof?

i dont know if there are gaskets or what around the roof rack. thats just the only thing i know where there would be a whole to leak there. I looked at all the weatherstripping on the sunroof and everything looks good. This was an old ladies jeep i bought it a year ago with only 45 thousand miles. It sat in her garage the whole time. There no cracking or weatherstripping coming loose at all. seems in perfect shape

If your windshield has been replaced, you may want to check the sealant around the windshield.

OK then... There are torx screws holding the roof rack on.. Take it all the way off and put some clear silicone around the holes then put it back on...

You could also take out the head liner and look to see where the leak is originating...
