Sorry I have been gone for so long but I have been busy with home repairs and then I got sick.. But anyway...

The oilpan will come off but you are going to have to drop the exhaust.. (You will need some long extensions.. ) I take off the starter and tranny dust shield and drop the exhaust and pull out all the bolts .. and jack it up.. Thats about it.. It comes right out..

I have changed my rear main seal 3 times and put a high flow oil pump in recently .. So mine might come off easier than others..

Good luck..

sounds like a day job for me. Thanks for the info. What type of oil pump do you have? I haven't really found any that I like yet.

Melling... Its very good quallity.. I run Melling pumps in all my rides..

Not real expensive.. Make sure you get high volume.. Not High Pressure...

High pressure will blow valve cover gaskets..
