I'm not a serious off-roader, moderate at best (mainly because my rig is stock). Myself, and my brother-in-law, are looking for places to wheel in NC, and were wondering if anyone can help. We've done Uwharrie as much as we can with our trucks, and he takes his on the beach all the time.

Anyone know of anywhere where a stock XJ and one with a 4.5" lift can go for some weekend fun?

I would suggest joining a local 4x4 /JEEP Club. Local wheeling and several trips seems to keep us busy (broke and fixing) about as much as time allows!
