Question.....To remove the belt I slightly loosen the tensioner pulley first then back out the long tensioner bolt, right? When I get the new belt on it seems to me I would tighten the pulley first (to make sure it's aligned) then tighten the long tensioner bolt. I've never changed a belt with this type of setup, just the kind you stick a ratchet on or the old type v-belts. Just wanted to do it in the right order. Thanks.

Great website, like all the info!

I just replaced my water-pump. I believe that when you tighten the pulley bolt, you are also locking it into position on the long tension bolt, so when you re-tighten the belt don't tighten the pulley bolt all the way first. Tighten the long tension bolt tight as hell or you'll get loud sqeaks and whines...(not like the old V-belts!) Then tighten the pulley bolt all the way to lock into place.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys..????
