My buddy is wanting to weld his spider gears together on his xj. The thing is simply a play toy so the on road manners don't really matter. He also realizes the stress and whatnot it puts on other parts. Also, he's a poor college student like myself, and has no money. That is why he's welding them instead of getting a locker or spool. So, anybody done this before? How hard is it? Found any good writeups? Thanks.
