What shocks provide the best ride for on road driving?

I'd vote for Bilsteins but they're damned expensive.

i've run stocks, dt3ks, skyjacker nitros, skyjacker hydros, RE monotubes, and now old man emus. i'd have to say that out of the ones i've used the old man emus are far and away the best on-road ride.
chris (just my experiences)

I have factory shocks, and the ride is pretty good, not to harsh, only the side to side is harsh because of the sway bar.
Would the OME shocks ride softer, equal to, or stifferer than the stock stuff?
I'm seriously looking at the whole OME 2" (and if the wife will let me 4") lift. But I don't want stiff shocks.

Ditto that. Best bang for the buck IMO. In fact, they ride nicer than my stockers ever did with much improved response both on and offroad.

OME would defitnetly get my top overall choise.

Edelbrock IAS would be second. Only reason for 2nd is that the damping gets harsh when the temps fall below 10f or colder.

Munroe makes a good shock for street use. Munroe in Australia makes OME shocks.

Rancho's...never again

Pro Comps...maybe

SSV's were ok, but nothing special.
