Go for the flip kit. I sheared one of my ubolts skids off once. Oh what fun... Luckily, it was my last run before SOA.

I wanted to explain about the locked gate and the exit gate we use on the west property. I believe the encounter with the locked gate was because I had explained to several of the group who were already members that we were using the new staging entrance and I assumed they would lead the group to where everyone needed to go. You must have gone around the corner to the old entrance and found the gate there locked. From what I saw, you found your way to where you needed to be.

We use the lower gate on the West side only when the main road leading down into the West side gets too icy to safely drive back up it. I had driven that road the day before and decided it was too dangerous. Kyle H. was leading one group and he knew about the lower gate from the day before. I explained to one of the guys in the hardcore group that if they felt capable enough to drive back up the hill, go for it, otherwise, use the lower gate. This was only the second weekend all season we've had to use the lower gate.

I phoned Kyle H. late in the afternoon and learned that his group was out and airing up and that the other group was also on their way out. Anyone who has problems can call me and we’ll do all we can to help out and I check with each group at the end of the day to make sure they are all right. We have resources in the area to help our guests deal with problems. My number is printed on the trail map.

I hope to see you guys again when the snow and ice is gone.

we actually just headed back up H and down the pole line to get out, the hill wasn't that bad. thats actually where i got a little mixed up, the other 2 times i was up we used the lower gate on the west side, i somehow ended up on lower 3 and just took that the whole way down to the exit...oh well, got to see more of the park that way thumbs

Razz I would have thought you'd be sick and tired of slip sliding around to mess with going up that hill. Couple more weeks and hopefully all that snow and ice will be outofhere!

Had a fun time. Glad I could meet some of you guys, some I wasnt so thrilled to meet Finger Mr. Green . I ran the with the harder group and I must say, Trail 6 was pretty cool. I cant wait to hit Rock Creek again also.
I know Jake isnt on this board, but for you that know him.....he almost killed me Wink . I dont think I will ever ride with Jake again, I should have stayed in my Jeep. Good day in all.

who would have thought driving an automatic could be so hard

It was cool meeting you and mike and them. Hopefully I'll get my jeep running and join ya's next time, that is if a lil guy on 33's is allowed to run with you Twisted Evil

Here's a couple pics from Trail 6. The trail originally started with a lower and upper section, then two middle sections were added. There are multiple lines to attempt in some areas, and also a few bypasses here and there to sneak out disabled rigs.

From the upper-most section, short hillclimb:
