Ok, climb the following up a fairly steep incline (Pics DO NOT show the angle of the incline at all!) and who makes it furthest?

Here's the order:

Completed the climb: My stock '90 YJ 2.5L with A/T's (No pic of me attempting it since I was the only one with a digicam Sad):

3/4 of the climb: A stock '90 XJ 4.0L with A/T's:

1/4 of the climb: '91 YJ Islander 4.0L with 31's and TJ flares:

1/4 of the climb: '81 CJ-7 258 with a big lift and tires, rear lockers, front limited slip, etc.:

It's strange how things work out on the trail? My little stockie seems to be better at some things than built rigs ... but of course it's not as good in the majority of things I try haha Very Happy

I think the reason us A/T & stock people had the advantage was due to to the hill... It was "frozen" up a little so the mud wasn't chunky... It was like a flat, slippery surface which allowed our A/T's to come in complete contact with the ground. The M/T's couldn't dig through anything, so they had less rubber for traction... That's my guess anyway?

I also heard my first U Joint snap today .. Sounded like someone took a glass bottle and threw it against a rock (ouch).

Bah! That was the day I left 6 of my AA batteries back at my house... The batteries I was using died after those 15 shots Sad

We did go again on 2/21, I posted the new album up there if you didn't check.
