skid, I installed this
engine/transmission
skid plate from Skid Row on my 97 XJ.
This
write-up
describes how to install this skid
on a Jeep TJ. Even though that is on a TJ, there were no
major differences in the process. The only thing I have to add is that
there
are two part numbers for this plate on an XJ. One for a 10"
cross-member the other for a 14" cross-member. You can see in the
sketch where I measured it.
For my application it was the 14" cross-member…easy,
huh?
